  1. Hmm, JR can do so much better than that see through cap, not a fan at all. Its a shame because it’s a beautiful looking human hair wig but yeah, it’s a miss for me. Thank you for the honest review.

  2. Jon Renau are always so overpriced whether it’s a synthetic or human hair wig. In the video she points out that you can see the wefts and that’s when the wig isn’t on her head. That’s not acceptable for a wig that costs over $3000 when other brands sell human hair lace front wigs for less that are better made.

  3. I’d hold judgement for our channel reviewers, retail and independent. These ladies have years of consumer experience, hair loss challenges etc. They will go over every detail as they have so many times before. I have an older Jon Renau double mono and it’s a high end feature that provides the illusion of scalp no matter what you’re wearing or not underneath. Some wigs are doing this on a dedicated part line, but it makes zero sense they would install that without having a cap that gives the illusion of scalp? Jon Renau commercials are not teaching buyers how to buy human, why they provided certain features and something I think they do exceptionally well, better than most salons unless you pay a lot more is their color blending. Natural human hair is a fine blend of multiple colors. To make a wig that accomplishes that is exceptional, especially in their price point. if you’re going to buy a human hair wig, my advice is you don’t want to struggle with fit. If you’re petite and they don’t sell petite don’t buy one. In the features I wanted, my size is petite, JR only had one wig. Yes, the human hair price point is high because these units will last years if you take good care of them. It’s normal to have ear tabs and elastic straps replaced because they last so long. The best way to know what you want is to start with acrylic wigs. And it helps if you have a beloved acrylic to be the twin for a human unit. Especially for rain, human wigs take far too long to dry if you have to leave it on your head. A human hair purchase, you want to be very picky about the cap, hair quality, color and you’ll buy it a little longer because you’re supposed to take them to a stylist and get them cut the way you intend to wear it. This is what you’re acrylic wigs teach you. Layers, no layering, bangs, type of bang, wear straight, want to set it in curls. You can always set in curls, but layering changes the results. You can take your acrylic wigs in or bring pictures or a video to help the stylist. The stylist may suggest a little longer to start and come back at no charge to trim more off or changes after you’ve worked with it. The hair may have a natural wave, you don’t need to style it at all. This is why I suggest knowing what you want/like and what works best with your face structure and color. You already have an investment in wardrobe and favorite makeup look. When hair color doesn’t look right it’s because you have to change all of that to match the hair or stick with colors that match up to what you have. In sum, I like Remy human because it doesn’t itch my neck, excellent color that absorbs light and natural movement. This quality of hair is a fine hair shaft light weight and smooth. Acrylics may not last, but they have their place too. They can get beat up by weather or squished under a hat, and quickly dry and get their curls back. I hope this helps.
