My Scorpio from Wigstudio 1 just came today coincidentally. I got it in coffee latte r. LOVE it! Mine looks darker though. Likely your lighting.
The permatease is for volume. I’ve had plenty of wigs without permatease and the wefts would never show. Sorry but I don’t think it’s purpose is to hide any wefts.
