Why does the wig look greasy..is it the silicone they put on them? Do you suggest washing the wig before wearing?
I thought the same
All synthetic pieces will have a slight sheen to them that fades over time. You can also use dry shampoo to dull any shine.

@Wigs.com it is not the shine, but the greasy look. I’m new to wigs, just doing research before choosing my first one. From my understanding, silicone is on the wig when you get them. However, some have more than others…so my second question, do you need to wash wig first before wearing? Thanks for your reply
