  1. I wholeheartdly appreciate you mentioning doing your alopecia clients privately as a sufferer of alopcia it is very sensitive and private as well as embarrassing so thank you for being so considerate of your clients feelings

    1. @Lena B I suffer with it as well, but mine is more severe. It’s a big area on the top of my head. I also have a birthmark there. The lady that use to do hair passed away several years ago. So, to keep from feeling embarrased, I wear a wig or do a sew-in. I just wish I could find a person to do my hair and I don’t have to feel ashame.

    2. I have not heard back from you I am patient and still waiting on your reply a year later, I realize you are in high demand but I’ve decided to go a step further and ask the Creator for assistance concerning you and the craft he has blessed you with, “Desperately Awaiting Your Response
With Nothin’ But Love 4 Your Creative Craft.

  2. You did a great job sis! It’s good that you’re focusing on helping people with Alopecia. Even if people aren’t diagnosed, they still suffer from terrible hair loss over the years and poor maintenance. These videos are very much needed. Keep up with your tutorial style. Blessings…..

  3. I absolutely love that you offer 1-on-1 private sessions a lot of stylist don’t do this. I have alopecia & hv a hard time w/my husband seeing it yet alone a whole shop!! #blessings #yasss #confidencewithoutcompromise

    1. I’m a single woman with a thinning crown and some days I worry about what others think and other days I realize THEY talked about Jesus and I don’t think about them. But, I found this video and service to be a blessing.

  4. You are a professional and truly set yourself apart a from a lot factory shops. May you have Prosperity Queen!

  5. Love this video. I have had alopecia before they knew about alopecia; had my first wig when I was in third grade and I am now in my sixties. You are to be commended for thinking about your clients with alopecia. Great job!!

  6. Simply gorgeous! And I love that even though she has alopecia, you still take measures to protect the hair she has left…bravo!

  7. Hi Lena B,
I thank you for having this service for your clients like me. It means so much to have someone take care of your hair. I’m thankful to have wigs, but woemen like our hair done. It gives so much to our self esteem. I live in Phoenix since 2005 and have lupus and still looking for that caring person. God Bless

  8. Thank you so much for this tutorial!!! It has been very helpful for me to style clients with hair loss issues. Your voice is very pleasant and easy to listen to, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow and the technique was fairly simple. Please continue your tutorials, especially for clients with hair loss or hair damage. Your expertise is much needed and appreciated. Last but not least, the finished product was fabulous!!! I look forward to seeing more videos soon. GOD Bless!!!

  9. That trim was SUPER impressive. I knew the style was going to look sleek & nice from the trim & molding processes alone. I also loved the strip of color added in, towards the center. Your teaching style is also calming & organized, and not overpowered by background music.
You make me wanna try & learn how to care for the natural hair & then do a quick weave, LOL..in my imagination, anyways.

  10. This is awesome.❤️ My mother suffers from alopecia and doesn’t like going to stylists/shops to get her hair done because they don’t have private rooms. As a women hair is something we can get very insecure about ,so i applaud you for this.

  11. Your work is amazing! I had long, strong hair until I started taking meds for high blood pressure and thyroid pills. My hair would come out in clumps in the sink. I was devastated. Being able to be comfortable for yourself and your own well-being is important. Thank you for doing the great work you do without judgement. Many suffer and get tired of the hecklers at salons not knowing why your hair is the way it is. So thank you. May God keep blessing your hands and your business.

  12. Love to see people with alopecia get their hair done. Its heart breaking to loose your hair. It takes a lot of talent to do the challenging hairstyles . Heartwarming video. Thank you.

  13. Your client looks so happy. Awesome work. Your voice is calming too, and it’s great that you do one-on-one. So many alopecia patients are self-conscious about others seeing their hair before it’s styled.

  14. Just loved the tutorial..I’ve had this Condition for years..Unfortunately when it happened it was not a technique that was very familiar with stylists and I lost my healthy hair due to the unfamiliarity of the Condition..Love your work and the fact that you are willing to do it on a one on one basis…Just loved the closure…

  15. Wow I’ve never seen the process of a quick weave before & I love the fact that it looks exactly like her hair. Very natural looking. Beautiful client❤

  16. Love this video. Lena, you let women like myself know that we do in fact have an alternative. Wigs are not our only options. Thanks so much for this video. 2 Thumbs Up!!

  17. I love this as it’s already hard enough to admit you have it. I have suffered in silence for so many years and I am terrified to go to someone else to get my hair done. I do my own hair with doors closed and no one around. This makes me want to find someone to do it and just get over that fear of being embarrassed. I love u for this girlie

  18. That really looks amazing! I also suffer from thinning hair. I wish there was someone in my area with 1 on 1 appointments. Thank you so much for caring about privacy!

  19. I love it! I have short thin hair & I’ve been doing partial quick weaves. Can’t wait to try this style next.
