  1. Always dilute essential oils with a carrier like olive, coconut, argan, grapeseed etc. Water and oil don’t mix so it’s best and safer to dilute with carriers.

  2. RICE WATER DOES HELP. IM TELLING U GUYS. I USE IT ALMOST EVERY WEEK. IT GROWS MY HAIR ALOT.

edit : if you DO use rice water , DO NOT BOIL IT

  3. Thanks for being short and to the point. Two quick questions 1) Are you using cold or room temperature water 2) Do you refrigerate the rince to ferment?

    1. Room temperature! And no refrigerating it stops the fermentation process, keep it out on a counter to ferment, sealed shut.

  4. You can let it ferment for up to 3-4 days! If you are afraid your hair will be hard from the protein after you put the rice water on your hair put a deep conditioner on top of it, while the rice water is in your hair.

  5. Great video hun. I love peppermint so I’ll try it. Until recently when I tried easy cook, I had never really experienced the smell everyone’s talking about. Even with that, it wasn’t that bad of a smell. I had left it for 3 days in room temperature out of direct sunlight, my issue was the fact that the rice had soaked up most of the water lol this is how I make mine now for daily use herehttps://youtu.be/xa1Y3JlaqAE

  6. I made my Rice water and added Peppermint Esential Oil it smells great! I allowed it to ferment for 24hrs then I sprayed it onto my hair, placed a plastic cap/bag on top, then set for about 2 hours before rinsed it out. My hair looked healthier than it had prior to the application and my scalp tingles!!!!

    1. @Shaheena Lomax Do you use the rice water after you shampoo, and do you use a conditioner after the rice water rinse?

    1. @l e v ya, it was an accident. I ussually leave it for 2-3 days because I don’t want it to be too concentrated

  7. Jaazz Mary this is new to me so can you answer some questions for me?
    1. What’s the difference between using organic or regular rice?
    2. Can you use the precooked rice from the boil in a bag box?
    3. Why do some people use distilled water?
    4. What do you do with the rice?
    5. How long can you save the fermented water?
    Thanks.

  8. I’m a single dad and I didn’t know much about doing hair. Your videos helped out a lot. I’m a bit more confident doing my daughters hair now!

  9. thanks for sharing your method! i’ve put lavender essential oil, coconut jamaican black castor oil, and a tad of wild growth in mine. it smells pretty great for now at least. it’s only been 6 hours lol. hope it goes well

  10. I used the rice water for a month and had AMAZING results! I even documented my use of rice water on my YouTube channel. Who ever thought that something in my pantry would give my hair so much growth!!❤️
