I feel like this would be healthier for the hair to, because it’s not as heavy. I have fine hair and thick extensions have caused it to break in the past. Really wish someone would have thought to try this technique!

My stylist did something similar but cut the strips in half to allow for a more natural hair flow.

@L F I did try them, but I think the batch I got had bad glue or I’m bad at applying them. They weren’t very secure and bothered me a lot and I ended up taking them out after just a few days.

I tried this technique. Unfortunately it just doesn’t last as long as the tape is flimsy when it is not attached to another hair extension and lifts/peels after a few days.
Great video! I need to try these. Wearing heavier extensions a lot pulled my hair down in the back and temporarily gave me a huge bald spot. Thank god my hair

Thank you for the video. Question: The top tape looks shiny, how do you hide it? If it’s windy, won’t the tape be visible?
Hi, you can put the tape under and the extension on top, in this case my client use the extensions very low, but you can do either way.
Would you recommend tape ins for thin hair(way thinner than hers)?
Also, would it be possible to do tape ins with a hair topper?
I LOVE the way you use only one tape extension and one plain tape to secure it. My hair is very thin too and this would definitely work for me. Thanks!
