1. I’m waiting on a Jon Renau remy human hair to come in. I have already purchased remy from them, great match to my fine hair. Nobody but Jon Renau gets my natural blonde right. A seller consultant for the brand told me my frustration with colors changing on synthetic fibers is not unusual. This doesn’t happen with human. The colors remain consistent knowing clients further customize. I think it’s good Renau doesn’t root their light blondes. Natural blondes roots vary from different shades of darker blondes to lighter brown. Especially on the investment of human,this won’t be a deal breaker and rooting is easy to do. Never! use the spray on a mono/lace feature units. It may wash off hair/fibers but can permanently stain mono lace materials. My idea, Working with the hair upside down, eye shadow or eye brow gel on hair or fiber is safe. If you don’t like it, washes out. If you don’t want to do it, at least try a small section on your human unit to help salon get the color you want. Work upside down to keep powder from dropping if a mono top. Working in sections, rubber band rest of hair lay in cap use binder clip to cinch ear tabs. Can pin unit to wig head or use string to hang from lamp, hook etc. This makes it quick to apply only to hair with a sponge tip. Cool blow drying will clean powder or dry gel. I don’t do the entire scalp. Uneven on hairs is good, hairs don’t grow evenly. Keep tag you cut off human hair purchases. These units are like a custom salon as to color, you may need info for a later purchase. If RN is at the end of the color number it means Renau Natural. These are the units your salon can add colors to you’re liking. Note the colors the salon added and staple to tag. Sunlight and washing dark tones fade, unlike bio it’s usually yrs. not months and why you need the color reference. The consultant told me taking care of human can last decades. Salons can replace straps and with age split ends can be trimmed. Unlike bio hair, upkeep is less because they don’t get scrubbed and rubbed like bio. She advised to buy a little longer than the length desired so the stylist has plenty to properly thin, cut layers or angles. The model is right, the human hair wigs are made to customize. I hope this helps, especially if you’re new to exploring human hair.

2. I can see the potential here. I have three Carries and three Siennas and love them. I don’t have to do anything to them except an occasional curling iron treatment to add subtle waves. I wonder why they brought out Colbie? These don’t have lace and that may make a difference to some people. I don’t wear non-lace wigs at all but the rooted versions will be fine without lace. Human hair wigs last decades with care and are a wise investment, imho.

   2. Oh! A curling idea that works, avoid iron damage get salon curls on human wig, roll damp to wet hair on socks, I secured socks with rubber bands. wrap in scarf or pillow case then wrap in heating pad set on low. I secured heating pad with rubber bands. Leave it overnight. Oh man does it work. Big curls, roll bigger chunks of hair, little curls smaller. I have a Blake I tested it. She has a lot of hair to play with. Super quick, I laid it on my lap, had it all done in 15 min. Just sit it on the floor, it’s at the salon while you sleep.
