  1. I randomly stumbled across this video and I see I can help! To hold down a lace wig without glue and worrying damaging your hair. Try “got to be glue” spiking gel. Place it around your hair edges place the lace over it and arrange it to style. Tie something around the font of ur hair for about 20 and boom!! It can hold for a couple days no problem! Just use water to take off. 🙂

    1. FYI– And if you prefer to remove your wig at night, plain hair-spray squirted across your hairline will also work, Tap a damp wash cloth across the area at night when you are ready to remove the wig.

    2. @muiithehappy As a wig wearer for years, yes, it works. That is what I use. & it holds great! It actually works better if you mix the gel & hear spray together. It doesn’t take much at all, and once it’s dry. A hurricane couldn’t blow it off your head!!

  2. Finally!!!! Thank you this is the first understandable lace front video I’ve seen. It actually makes me feel more confident to buy a lace front. (yes, i’ve been avoiding them, lol). It seemed so hard

  3. I spent half of my attention during all the video being amazed by your stunning look <3

  4. I don’t wear wigs but this was very interesting and well done. If I ever need a wig I will feel well prepared.

  5. This is so helpful! I was so worried about spending money on a lace front without properly knowing how to affix it. Thank you so much!

  6. Finally! Maybe now more girls will just buy a wig instead of dying their hair and damaging it/being disappointed. Unfortunately, when people see videos or pictures with black women in them, they assume that it’s not for them and only for Black women.

    1. @Andrea Sanchez if your are dying your hair darker using a semi-permanent color then it does not damage it. The chemicals used to light hair can cause damage because they penetrate the hair shaft while colors that darken typically just coat the surface of the strands.

  7. Since I wear wigs for cosplay, I kind of learn all of this from my own experience, (it’s common sense, honestly). I did not know so many people would get upset about a white person wearing wigs. Plus she is the spokesperson for a wigs company so…

  8. when people are preaching about cultural appropriation and how she’s just not good at putting on wigs but like…. she works as a model for rockstar wigs. thats a cosplay wig website. it means that since putting on wigs is her job, she is not bad at it. She’s probably better at it than the people saying she’s not good at it. And also, how is a dang wig cultural appropriation? Just because it’s got lace in it? She’s wearing a wig because it’s convenient for her and she likes it. She is not trying to be a different culture.
TL;DR: She knows what she’s doing and it isn’t cultural appropriation. Bye felicia.

    1. peachy yeah a lot of people are starting to wear them or the wig toppers because of hair loss and thinning . I’m starting to consider it as well due to hair loss 🙁 plus I’m
Not good at fixing my hair lol. I’ve worked at beauty salons for 9 years now and those ladies that do hair have skills . I however wasn’t born with that talent. What takes them a few minutes to do takes me forever and it still doesn’t look right . So a wig would come in handy .

    2. @Michelle what you said was completely ignorant as a black woman no we do not wear wigs to look like a certain ethnicity….

  9. I am not sure why some ppl are commenting and saying this girl cannot do a video about lace front wigs because she is not black I am assuming. How are we as a society suppose to evolve when we treat ppl the way we don’t want to be treated! Grow up! There are actual atrocities in the world that need outrage, not a goddamn wig tutorial! Anyway, luv this video you have a super cute voice 🙂

    1. @Auntie Bthanks to the black hair industry lace fronts and so many techniques and quality wigs and products are available. If it wasn’t for that I would be stuck buying a Halloween wig

    2. @Andria Colonna I never said that they are just for fun. I stopped relaxing my hairs years ago because of thinning. I wear braids, weaves and wigs daily as protect styles.

    3. @Andria Colonna lace front wigs are not created by black hair industries. It seems like this is a common misconception. Most wigs are made in China. Only recently have black owned Wig companies began cropping up but I am sure most of the wigs are still being imported.

  10. That was so wonderfully helpful! I just got my first lace front wig and when I saw all the extra lace I was like UUUUHHHHH… This answered all my questions and I’m looking forward to getting mine set up properly haha! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

  11. THANK YOU!! I recently went through a hair loss episode and it’s so upsetting, and the amount of money that wig salons charge is even more upsetting! These tips are life changing! Thank you thank you 🙂

  12. This was incredibly informative and easy to follow, I’ll definitely be sticking around for more! I’ve been playing around with the idea of chopping off all of my damaged hair and using wigs for a while while it grows back, and this gave me LOTS of reassurance! 🙂

  13. After watching so many videos in wig tutorials this series was my absolute favorite!! I appreciate your awesome bubbly attitude and all the very very useful information on all of ur videos! Keep doing what you do girl!!!

  14. I’m shocked at the serious amount of negative comments on this video. She does an amazing job! And if y’all have nothing better to do then sit here and be nasty it may be time to find a new hobby.

  15. I shaved my head and began wearing lace front wigs, ANYONE can wear them, its so much better than how I used to damage my hair, wigs are amazingggggg

    1. That’s why I bought a wig. I’ve wanted short curly hair that is dyed for a long time. I bought a wig so I dont damage my real hair.

    2. I have a buzzed hair style so clips don’t work for me. So, is glue necessary? Do I need to wear a cap if I don’t have hair?

  16. This video helped me out a lot. I’m planning on cosplaying Yasha from Critical Role for Halloween, and the wig I found for the cosplay happens to be a lace front wig. Because of this video, I now know how to put on the wig when I get it. Thank you so much! 🙂

  17. We have always applied these in the traditional sense and we love all these short cuts and and great tips for the hairline/part! Can’t wait to do another, now!
