+Chrissy bales This was super helpful! I am wondering though – if you had a client who’s skintone was like Gabrielle Union’s, would you still use the dark chocolate dye and then leave it on for less time or would you use Adore’s medium brown or mocha to dye the closure?
This works perfectly for anyone darker than the shade of their lace! I’m about a shade lighter than the girl in the video, so I adjusted the color of hair dye I got. Instead of getting dark chocolate dye, I bought mocha in the same brand, following the same technique and it came PERFECT (in my Chrissy voice)! I do find that i have to repeat the process every few washes
