@Makyrah L idk about the baby oil. 2 hrs is a little alarming and maybe the developer was too strong. i hope it wasnt 40/30 mixed together
@Screamin Berries the baby oil didn’t do it, honestly adding baby oil is completely pointless. people add it thinking it will damage your hair less bc of the bleach but bleach will absolutely chew right through it. the developer was def too strong, he mixed 30 and 20 volume for christ’s sake . a 40 volume would have been fine. bleach is only supposed to stay in the hair for about 30-45 minutes; an hour is really pushing it. but his videos are all jokes i believe bc he’s done that before, over and over, same thing with bleaching and then leaving it in for like 3 hours .
never leave bleach on your head for over an hour lol it will /srs give you chemical burns on your scalp bc that’s what bleach does

@POTATO HEAD um, hes still NOT a hairdresser…. just bc he works on hair, doesnt mean hes good at it nor is professional…. he doesnt have the degree, his reactions to things that are OBVIOUSSS and the fact that he “doesnt know about that” and acts surprised with really basic things (eg. putting blue on orange hair to make them look brownish). not to mention his hair products are bad…… so its annoying that people refer to him when hes not even a professional hairdresser and doesnt know basic things. yikes.

As someone who has used the splat hair dye, I do not recommend unless you wanna sacrifice your hair (from my experience) so be careful what hair dye you choose and look at the reviews too.
LOVE IT! I’m gonna dye my hair pretty soon, but unfortunately my mum won’t let me dye the ends of my hair red, so I chose navy blue. I’m not sure if navy blue will look good as an ombré with brown hair tho
