Synthetic Wig Client Consultation featuring January and Julia by Jon Renau and Rae by Rene of Paris!

In this video we take you step by step with a new client from beginning to end. We appreciate Kelly allowing us to share her hair loss journey with our audience to let you all know that no matter where you are in this process we are here for you!
Purchasing a wig for the first time can be a daunting and uncomfortable experience if you don't have anyone to help guide you in the process. We would love for everyone to educate themselves and know the questions to ask/answer and what to expect before you ever set foot into a wig salon.
Please let us know if you have further questions that we can assist you with. We are here for you!

  1. Misty and Kim you two are amazing ladies. What a great video i loved the shorter red wig on your client. Would love to meet you one day!

  2. Thank you so much fo sharing your new look with us. Your such a trooper and your going to have so much fun on your journey to exciting new hair do’s and just wait till you experience the new colors they have come out with. Have fun always~Lee

  3. I have been fitting wigs for over a decade and when you put the first wig on her, I would have bet $1,000,000 she’d say it was too much hair! Always the first response until they get used to them. She’s a doll and looks great in them all.

  4. LOVE watching you do a full consult — would love to see more of these! And she looks great in Rae and January. But I was yelling at the computer for you to have her try on Kristi or Cameron, which seem so close to what her natural hair look like 😀

  5. Oh my gosh, you two are so sweet and Kelly is just gorgeous in all of those wigs. It must be so hard dealing with hair loss and you’re so reassuring. My gorgeous 16 year old step-granddaughter has alopecia totalis and I wish that I could send her to you. I may have to plan a trip to Dallas because you would help her feel so beautiful. Great work ladies. You are the best!

  6. This was great!!! Many thanks to your client for being such a trooper and allowing us to watch her wig journey. Wish that could have been me (minus the video camera haha)!!!

  7. Kelly’s a pretty woman with a lovely facial bone structure. She could wear any style (or color!) and look absolutely gorgeous. Next time you see her be sure to thank her for letting us come along for her first consultation!

    1. I want a new wig I don’t know if you send to guernsey Channel Islands you have so many to choose from they are all so loverly please let me know if you take a debit card than you for the video

  8. I loved this video! I would love to see more like it! I’m trying to get up the nerve to try wigs myself! I live in Arizona or I’d come to your store❤️

  9. The first few times I went out in public wearing a wig, I was upset that people were staring at me. I thought OMG they know it’s a wig, is something showing!?! I realized after a while, they were looking at my hair (wig) and they were probably liking my hair style. Before I ever thought about a wig I would see a lady, probably close to my age, with all this beautiful hair and I would think “why can’t I have the great hair”. Jealous. Maybe THEY were wearing a great wig and I didn’t know it! LOL! Hopefully you told Kelly to be prepared for stares because she looks stunning! Great video!

    1. That is EXACTLY what we tell women! She actually called a couple of days ago and said she has gotten SO many compliments and even from perfect strangers. Thank you for sharing! 🙂

  10. This was so good to watch. Thank the client for us. She picked the right ones for sure and needs to get the red one next. I wish I lived closer to Dallas. I need a consultation rather than trying to do this on my own. So hard to judge colors and hairstyles online. You end up spending more money shipping items back that don’t work out as you hoped. I am new to wigs as well.

  11. She is going to look good in a wig! I immediately thought of January. Loved her in the blonde/brown too. Kelly, the first words out of my mouth in my first wig were “It is too much hair”. I think that is pretty universal in ladies with thin hair as we have grown accustomed to less hair,. Love your two choices.

  12. As time went on and she fitted more wigs, this ladies whole facial expression changed. She seemed so much happier by the end.

    1. At the beginning I thought using wigs will make me feel sadder than being losing hair and not using a wig but after starting using wigs I feel much happier and confident with myself and the people around me. Thank God for the wigs. I encourage ladies to use them instead of getting more sad about losing hair and complaining like I was before last year when I started using them. This is a new life.

  13. The long straight one that you said might be a yes, then got interrupted towards the end was the best. You should really get that one! It looks amazing on you! So natural looking and makes you look so young compared to all the rest…

    1. @Mimi’s Wig Boutique That one made her look so young!!!! It looks like a dark brown in the video but the color number listed under the video is more golden brown. Can you tell me what is the true color so I can order it?

  14. Your client is lovely. I think the lighter colors really bring her out. I am remembering how my sister’s face lit up the first time she tried on a wig after her first round of chemotherapy. Although 20+ years have passed, it still brings tears to my eyes when I think of how brightly she smiled and couldn’t stop looking in the mirror. You guys are great.❤
